Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC seeks an experienced Concrete Finisher to work on heavy highway and bridge projects in Florida. You will perform finishing and leveling of freshly poured concrete, using hand and power tools, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Prospective candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, be able to lift 60 pounds, and operate vibrators, grinders, and power trowels as part of daily duties. This on-site role requires physical stamina and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience working on heavy highways and/or bridges.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend and crouch for up to 10 hours per day.
• Able to climb ladders, scaffolds and stair towers.
• Capable of lifting and carrying at least 60 pounds.
• Capable of operating concrete vibrators for extended periods.
• Able to pour, grade and finish concrete.

Responsibilities

• Finish and smooth poured bridge decking and concrete slabs with hand or power tools.
• Spread concrete to required depth and consistency.
• Level and shape surfaces using straightedge, float, or screed.
• Finish surfaces with power trowel and abrasive rubbing as needed.
• Remove defects with grinders or chisels and repair as required.
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
• Mold expansion joints and edges; mix concrete with a mixer.
• Repair and break up old concrete surfaces as needed.
• Finish walls, patches and related concrete work.

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured bridge decking or other concrete slabs using hand tools or power tools including floats,trowelsand screeds
• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
• Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straight edge,float or power screed
• Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel
• Rub concrete with abrasive stone to finish
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder,chiselor hammer
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound material
• Mold expansion joints and edges
• Mix concrete using a mixing machine
• Break up and repair old concrete surfaces
• Finish walls,pointand patch

Job Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5)years experienceworking on heavy highways, and/or bridges
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
• Must be able to climb ladders,scaffoldsand stair towers
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds
