Prince in Sarasota, FL seeks experienced concrete finishers for bridge decking and highway projects. You will spread, level, and finish poured concrete using floats, trowels, screeds and power tools to achieve smooth, durable surfaces.

Candidates should have 3–5 years on heavy highways or bridges, be able to stand for long hours, lift 60 lb, climb ladders, and operate vibrators, grinders and power screeds to pour and finish concrete.

Formación

• Three to five years experience working on heavy highways and/or bridges.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend and crouch for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
• Capable of lifting and carrying at least 60 pounds and climbing ladders/scaffolds.

Responsabilidades

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools or power tools.
• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency.
• Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straight edge, float or power screed.
• Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel.
• Rub concrete with abrasive stone to finish.
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using grinder, chisel or hammer.
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
• Mold expansion joints and edges.
• Mix concrete using a mixing machine.
• Break up and repair old concrete surfaces.
• Finish walls, point and patch.

• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
• Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straight edge,float or power screed
• Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel

Job Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5)years experienceworking on heavy highways, and/or bridges
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
• Must be able to climb ladders,scaffoldsand stair towers
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds
• Capable of operating concrete vibrators for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to pour, grade and finish concrete
