Job Description

As a Concrete Finisher at Terminal Ready-Mix, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality finish of concrete surfaces. You will work alongside a skilled team, using your expertise to deliver exceptional results on every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Concrete Finishing: Perform straight-edging, bull-floating, brooming, and edging of concrete surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Formwork Installation: Set and align formwork using a laser level to ensure precise line and grade.
• Subgrade and Stone Base Preparation: Rake, compact, and prepare subgrade and stone base for concrete pours.
• Tool Operation: Use both hand and power tools to perform various finishing tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the team to complete projects on schedule and to specifications.
• Jobsite Mobility: Operate a company vehicle to travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in concrete finishing, with a strong focus on straight-edging.
• Tools & Equipment: Proficient in the use of concrete saws, hammer drills, small tools, and other equipment necessary for finishing tasks.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision to ensure top-notch concrete finishes.
• Teamwork & Communication: Excellent ability to collaborate with teammates and communicate effectively on the job site.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with approval from our insurance provider to drive company vehicles.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
