Job summary

Delaware Valley Paving Inc. is seeking a concrete finisher to join our Jersey City crew. You will set forms, pour and finish concrete, and ensure proper curing and expansion control on active projects.

Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience, read construction plans, and work well with a team. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred; OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a concrete finisher or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and specifications.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Experience with hand and power tools used in concrete work.
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites as scheduled.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license strongly preferred.

• Operate basic construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers.
• Additional tasks as needed to support operations.
