Roger Langeliers Construction Co. is seeking a dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures, while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Concrete Mason.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read blueprints and mark out areas accurately.
• Knowledge of concrete mixes, finishing and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and formwork for pours.
• Pour, finish and cure concrete to spec and quality standards.
• Read blueprints and mark out locations precisely.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and teamwork on site.

• Validdriver’slicense-Required
• CDLAand/orequipmentoperatorexperienceisaplus!
• Abilitytoreadblueprintsandsurveydatatomarkoutspecificareasaccurately.
• Understandingofconstructionprinciples,concretemixingandpouringtechniques,andfamiliaritywithdifferenttypesofconcreteandrelatedmaterials.
• Understandingofdifferenttypesofconcretemixesandfinishingmaterials,aswellastheirappropriateapplications.
• Strongcommitmenttosafetyprotocolsandpractices,includingknowledgeofOSHAregulationsrelatedtoconcretework.
• Abilitytoperformdifferenttypesoffinishesincludinghandtrowel,broom,exposedandcurbfinishes
• Familiaritywithstraightedges,screeds,andotherfinishingtoolsusedinmasonrywork
