Job summary

Atlas Masonry & Concrete in the Greater Phoenix Area is seeking a Concrete Estimator / Project Manager for large commercial and custom residential projects. This role blends detailed estimating with project coordination and cost control to ensure accurate budgets and successful project delivery.

You will review drawings, price supplier and subcontractor quotes, track variances, and support closeout. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in concrete estimating and proven ability to manage project

Qualifications

• Five+ years of concrete estimating experience on large commercial and custom residential projects.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and job-costing information.
• Experience coordinating construction work and managing project responsibilities.
• Practical understanding of concrete construction methods, sequencing, labor production and cost drivers.
• Clear communication with field and office teams and strong prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and addenda to define concrete scope and complete accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare detailed estimates and budgets for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Document assumptions, exclusions, scope questions, and potential cost or schedule concerns.
• Coordinate projects with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and field leadership.
• Track budgets, commitments, progress, and changes, identifying variances early.
• Prepare change pricing and maintain project documentation.
• Support job costing and project closeout using actual results to improve future estimates.

Atlas Masonry & Concrete is hiring a Concrete Estimator / Project Manager for large commercial and custom residential projects. This role combines detailed estimating with project coordination and cost control. We're looking for someone who understands what a project should cost and can help manage what happens after it's awarded.

What you'll do

• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to define concrete scope and complete accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare detailed estimates and budgets covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project-specific costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Document assumptions, exclusions, scope questions, and potential cost or schedule concerns.
• Coordinate assigned projects with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and field leadership.
• Track project budgets, committed costs, progress, and changes, identifying variances early.
• Prepare change pricing and maintain clear project documentation.
• Support job costing and project closeout, using actual results to improve future estimates.

What we're looking for
