Job summary

A leading concrete construction firm in Nashville is seeking an Estimator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with pricing, bidding, and estimating for commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, experience with structural concrete estimating, and proficiency in Microsoft programs. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects exceeding one million dollars in value.

Qualifications

• Experience with structural concrete estimating preferred.
• Experience in estimating for a Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor is a plus.
• General knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.

Responsibilities

• Sets up an estimate including correct alternates and conditions.
• Conducts a take-off by identifying and quantifying concrete scope items.
• Validates accurate information for operations team during planning.
