Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Dispatcher to manage customer orders and coordinate deliveries for the Austin area. You will respond promptly to inquiries, record accurate order details, and ensure timely delivery of ready-mixed concrete.

In this role you will work closely with the Dispatch Manager, drivers, and plant staff to optimize schedules, maintain service levels, and support ongoing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of related customer service experience or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter orders in Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Knowledge of Austin and surrounding areas and ability to read maps.

Responsibilities

• Assign delivery professionals to jobs and dispatch trucks to plants and sites.
• Monitor delivery schedules using GPS/radio and adjust as needed.
• Interact daily with customers, drivers, and plant personnel to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Receive and review customer orders by phone and confirm delivery details.
• Resolve customer complaints with appropriate solutions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and promote a safe, clean work environment.
