Job summary

Penhall Company is seeking a Concrete Cutting Trainee to support experienced operators in core drilling, concrete sawing, cutting, and removal. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in the skilled trades with opportunities for growth and advancement within a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with clean record.
• Previous labor experience preferred, construction/demolition experience helpful.
• Familiarity with concrete cutting tools and equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and train in skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cutting, sawing, lifting, and core drilling of concrete under supervision.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as diamond blades, saws, drills, and jackhammers.
• Ensure equipment is inspected, maintained, and safe to use.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean.
• Support setup/breakdown of job sites and coordinate with crew.
