Job summary

Vassar & Company Properties is seeking experienced Concrete Contractors to support construction, renovation, and property improvement projects across our portfolio. This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible, project-based scheduling and assignments based on scope and timelines.

You will perform concrete work on slabs, driveways, sidewalks, patios and foundations, prep sites, pour and finish concrete, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards while maintaining quality and

Qualifications

• Valid contractor license (if required by State/Local regulations)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial concrete work
• Ability to handle foundations, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, patios, and footings
• Knowledge of site prep, grading, forming, pouring, and finishing techniques
• Must have your own tools, equipment, and crew (if applicable)
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
• Understanding of local building codes and safety standards
• Reliable, professional, and able to manage projects independently
