Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee project work and ensure safety and productivity. You'll coordinate the efforts of your team and oversee all areas of medium to large projects, maintaining strong client relationships while promoting a culture of safety. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and strong experience in concrete construction. Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience.
• 5 - 10 years experience in concrete construction.
• May require appropriate Craft Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans work and coordinates project tasks.
• Oversees and directs staff effectively.
• Ensures a safe work environment and promotes safety practices.

Skills

Summary

The Project Superintendent directly and through subordinate Superintendents, oversees profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and interfacing, coordinating and directing other trades. Responsible for all areas on medium or large projects including prime contracts. Responsible for safety, planning, cost and productivity, while perpetuating an SQP culture. Responsible for high level client relationship through professional conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 - 10 years experience in concrete construction
• Line & Grade experience
• Foreman experience
• In-depth knowledge and experience of formwork systems
• May require appropriate Craft Certifications
