Job summary

Baker Construction in Tampa, FL seeks a Project Superintendent to oversee profitable installation of project work, directing crews and coordinating multiple trades. You will interface with clients and manage safety, planning, cost, and productivity on medium to large projects.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, coordinating staff, and maintaining an SQP culture while building lasting client relationships. Travel up to 25% is required and a relevant craft certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Line & Grade experience is expected.
• Foreman experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of formwork systems; may require appropriate craft certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans Work and coordinates project activities.
• Coordinates and Executes Work across trades and crews.
• Oversees and Directs staff on site.
• Promotes Client and Industry Relations.
• Ensures a Safe Work Environment and compliance with safety standards.
• Participates in Training/Certifications to maintain qualifications.

Summary

The Project Superintendent directly and through subordinate Superintendents, oversees profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and interfacing, coordinating and directing other trades. Responsible for all areas on medium or large projects including prime contracts. Responsible for safety, planning, cost and productivity, while perpetuating an SQP culture. Responsible for high level client relationship through professional conduct.
