Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops and integrates products, engineering support, repair and maintenance services for owners, engineers and contractors. A Laborer is sought with experience in construction, ability to operate power-tools, and familiarity with large equipment; must be English-speaking and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• Some experience in the construction field as a laborer/technician.
• Comfortable with operating power-tools (rotary hammers, chipping hammers, circular saws).
• Familiar with large equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts or skid steers.
• Ability to speak English and work at heights safely.
• Physically fit with good health and stamina; willing to work 40+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily tasks according to defined procedures.
• Operate standard PPE at construction sites and maintain safety.
• Support crew with basic labor tasks and cleanup.
• Follow instructions and contribute to a proactive, team-oriented environment.

The ideal Laborer candidate will be / have:

• Some experience in the construction field as a laborer / technician
• Comfortable with operating power-tools (i.e. rotary hammers, chipping hammers, circular saws etc.)
• Advantageous if familiar operating large equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts and skid steers
• Ability to speak English
• Team oriented and solution oriented, with a proactive, professional, positive attitude
• Safety-oriented in all situations and environments
• Able to take instructions and fulfill tasks
• Carry out daily tasks according to defined procedures
• Comfortable with working at heights
• Suitable for physically demanding job with good health & fitness levels
• Good hand-eye co-ordination & capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week
• Familiar with the use of standard PPE at construction sites
• Earn up to $25 per hour based on experience!
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.
• Must provide own transportation.
