Job summary

The Industrial Company (TIC) is seeking a skilled formwork carpenter in Abilene, TX to plan, lay out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for concrete structures. You will read prints, erect scaffolding and finish concrete surfaces according to specifications.

The role requires intermediate experience, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and willingness to work overtime, nights or weekends as workload demands. High school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read prints and drawings and follow specifications.
• Experience with formwork, rebar or concrete structures is a plus.
• Must understand safety rules and work safely at heights and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications.
• Construct, erect, install and repair structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts.
• Pour concrete and finish surfaces according to plans and specifications.
