Job summary

LPX Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Concrete Carpenter to perform detailed, quality, and safe concrete carpentry work. The role supports projects with strong adherence to plans, drawings, and specifications, while guiding unskilled labor and maintaining safety on site.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hand-on flatwork experience and AS in Construction Trade or equivalent, with solid communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with Foreman and other trades.

Qualifications

• AS in Construction Trade or equivalent trade certification from an accredited program preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on trade experience in flatwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform work to standards established for the Concrete Carpentry trade.
• Read and interpret plans, schematics, and drawings and follow specifications.
• Use trade tools safely and effectively on projects.
• Research required by the trade to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Provide guidance to unskilled labor to ensure safety and professional project completion.
• Collaborate with Foreman to identify potential issues before quoting and take-off.
• Coordinate with other trades on overlapping work and schedules.
• Promote safety standards on all job sites.
