Job summary

Titan Florida, a Titan Group subsidiary, seeks an experienced Plant Operator to join the Cape Canaveral, FL team. The role operates a stationary or portable batching plant, mixing cement materials and aggregates to produce concrete.

Requirements include a Class B CDL, 1+ year batching experience, and knowledge of automated batch plants. Willingness to work nights/weekends and travel to different plant sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year batching experience in a ready-mix concrete environment.
• Thorough knowledge of automated batch plant operation; Command Alkon experience preferred.
• ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and Florida DOT Batch Certification required or obtainable soon.
• Basic math skills; good communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate batch plant controls to mix cement materials.
• Monitor materials from hoppers and feeding systems.
• Ensure correct material quantities and quality indicators.
• Assist in maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Answer phone and input orders; support plant operations.
• Work overtime including nights and weekends as needed.
