Job summary

Sunroc Construction & Materials is hiring an entry-level Batch Plant Operator to join our concrete production team in Boise, Idaho. You will gain hands-on experience while learning from skilled professionals, with comprehensive training and competitive benefits.

You’ll batch ready-mixed concrete efficiently, load mixers, manage materials, and assist with inventory and paperwork. We value reliable teammates and provide growth opportunities within a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Basic computer skills.
• General knowledge of concrete.
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of industrial plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Batch ready mixed concrete as fast and as efficiently as possible.
• Load mixers and coordinate received materials.
• Order, monitor, and inventory materials supplied to the batch plant; sign vendor delivery invoices.
• Inform Dispatch and the Plant Manager of issues affecting production.
• Inspect and maintain belts and equipment; submit weekly activity reports.

Things You’ll Do

• Batch ready mixed concrete as fast and as efficiently as possible.
• Load mixers and coordinate received materials.
• Order, monitor, and inventory materials supplied to the batch plant. Sign vendor delivery invoices upon receipt of material and after every load.
• Inform Dispatch and the Plant Manager immediately of any issues that would inhibit production.
• Inspect and maintain all belts and equipment and submit a weekly report detailing activities.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• General knowledge of concrete.
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of industrial plant functions.
