Castle Builders Supply in Hermitage, PA is seeking a Concrete Batch Assistant to join our manufacturing team. You will be hands-on in producing high-quality concrete mixes, operating batching equipment, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a family-owned company with a strong community presence. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be detail-oriented, and comfortable using a computer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and safely follow directions.
• Must be detail oriented and comfortable working with a computer.
• Must have the ability to work cooperatively as part of a productive team to work safely and independently without constant supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Knowledge of Command batch system and/or a working knowledge of concrete and admixtures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized batching equipment to ensure consistent, accurate mixes.
• Monitor materials and mixes to maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and Transportation teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Track weights, measurements, and billing information accurately.
• Check inventory of raw materials and communicating production needs.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintaining safe operations.
• Operate a front-end loader when needed.
• Support your team with additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.
