Job summary

Castle Builders Supply in Aliquippa, PA, seeks a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily concrete production, people, and equipment. You will drive efficiency, ensure safety, and manage profitability at the facility, reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include supervising a team of ready-mix drivers, coordinating with dispatch, maintaining quality control and compliance with OSHA and plant procedures. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ACI Certification and familiarity with ACI tests.
• PA DOT technician certification or willingness to acquire.
• Understand mix design differences and inspect materials, verify load size and slump.
• Prior supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of plant operations, batching systems, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communications skills; written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass pre-employment screen and drug test.
• Ability to lift/carry over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient production and plant operations.
• Supervise a team of 5–15 ready‑mix drivers.
• Coordinate daily schedules and loads with dispatch.
• Complete payroll, invoices, ticketing, and inventory control.
• Oversee plant maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain concrete quality and testing requirements.
• Lead safety culture and promote operational excellence.
