Concierge/Valet

AtCedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what “CelebratingLife Every Day!” means to our residents and their families, then we help themachieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic part-time Concierge/Valet for our Bloomfield Hills community.

Concierge Responsibilities:
  • Promptly greet residents, visitors, familymembers, guests and all others entering the community.
  • Manage external and internal calls, taking andcommunicating messages.
  • Serves as a back-up for Sales and Marketing inquiry calls.
  • Assist residents withscheduling personal transportation services in conjunction with the ActivitiesDirector.
  • Submit work order requeststo the Maintenance department on behalf of residents, team members, and guests.
  • Assists with making reservations for residents for various community events.
  • Assist Activities department with runningresident programming on weekends.
  • Monitor emergency responsesystem and fire alarm panel during daytime hours.
Valet Responsibilities:
  • Open vehicle doors forguests and ensures their safety when exiting their vehicles.
  • Aid in removal of luggageand personal belongings.
  • Drive vehicles todesignated areas while following all traffic laws, safely park and lockvehicles, and ensure damage does not occur.
  • Record parking spots.
  • Place guest's keys in asecure location with guest's information attached.
  • Retrieve vehicles in atimely manner when guests are ready to depart.
  • Manage traffic in thevalet area to ensure smooth flow and avoid congestion.
  • Help guests to secure taxis or other modes of transportation.
  • Provide guests withinformation about the community.
Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or General Education degree (GED).
  • One year minimum related experience preferred.
