GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in New York, NY. You will focus on exceptional customer service while managing access and guiding visitors across shifts in offices, hotels, and retail environments.

This role emphasizes strong communication and event-ready readiness. The position offers a set Sunday-Thursday night schedule, a competitive hourly wage, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO and holidays,

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Exceptional customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Experience with basic office software and good communication abilities.
• 2–4 years in a supervisory role is preferred and New York State Guard license is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, verify identity, and guide guests.
• Manage access control and monitor entrances/exits.
• Conduct regular patrols and report security issues.
• Inspect equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone and document incidents.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns clearly.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• 2-4 years prior experience working in a Supervisory Role.
• 2-4 years hands on experience with Windows 10, MS Word, Excel, Email, typing, etc.
• New York State Guard license required.
