Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Peoria, IL. You will deliver high-level customer service, manage access control, and patrol environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The role requires strong communication, a high standard of professionalism, and the ability to engage with diverse visitors. The position offers full-time hours, 3rd shift (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) with benefits and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.
• Able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and verifying identity
• Control access to facilities
• Regular patrols to identify risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure safety of people and property
