Position Summary

Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm is seeking a full-time Concierge to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA.This is a part-time role covering Friday and Saturday overnight shifts from 11pm-7am.

Josephineis offering an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing world class customer service.The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills with a flawless attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work independently.

Josephine is a twenty-seven-story building featuring 254 luxury apartments that include studios, 1, 2, 3, and penthouse accommodations. Josephine boasts best-in-class amenities, including a 27th floor sun-facing pool, poolside bar and lounge, cutting edge athletic studio, social lounge, a secured parking garage, and a myriad of many other amenities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests and residents, demonstrating professional demeanor with all interactions.
  • Accept reservations for events, classes, kid’s corner parties, etc.
  • Promptly complete all resident requests, phone calls, questions, concerns.
  • Maintain resident data base by entering data and generating Resident Directory.
  • Monitor and secure lobby and ensure common and entry areas are clean and orderly.
  • Research local area dining, entertainment, shopping options, etc. to answer resident and guest questions about the neighborhood.
  • Provide directions, recommendations and reservations when requested.
  • Pick up and deliver items as requested, including mail distribution.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and assist/respond accordingly when necessary.
  • Performing other duties as requested by management.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong and pleasant telephone and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with clients, vendors, and co-workers on the phone and in person.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years practical experience

  • YARDI property management software experience preferred
