Job summary

Cross-trained across front office, back office, labs, and referrals, you’ll move between clinical and administrative tasks throughout the day. You’ll draw blood, run EKGs, update records, and coordinate follow-ups, helping providers focus on care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a medical assistant, preferably in a primary care setting.
• Confidence with vitals, blood draws, EKGs, and basic labs.
• Strong communication skills that build trust with patients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own the patient visit, start to finish.
• Take and record vitals, medical histories, and medication lists.
• Prep patients for their exam so the provider can focus on care.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the provider.
• Draw blood and run basic lab tests; perform EKGs and PFTs.
• Document accurately in the EMR and keep patient records clean.
• Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments to keep care on track.
