Ivy Park at San Jose, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a part-time Concierge to greet residents and guests, answer calls, and support administrative staff. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and collaboration in a senior living setting.

Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays shifts are offered, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid time off, meals, and a 401(k) plan. The ideal candidate has hospitality experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of experience in a hospitality or senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and direct calls to appropriate individuals promptly.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond immediately to calls.
• Manage the business center and process mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety standards.

Positions: Concierge (Part Time)
Shifts, Time, and Days: Fridays and Saturdays (7:45am-3:00pm) and Sundays and Mondays (3:00pm-8:15pm)
Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 (Depending on experience)

The Concierge

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
