The American Cancer Society is seeking a Concierge to serve as the first point of contact, manage front desk operations, and ensure a welcoming and safe environment for guests. You will assist with check-in/out, respond to inquiries, and coordinate transportation and security.

The schedule runs 7:30am - 4:00pm, Sunday - Wednesday, at $21.45 per hour with a 15% Sunday shift differential. Prioritize exceptional guest service and safety while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience.

The schedule for this role is 7:30am - 4:00pm, Sunday - Wednesday at $21.45 per hour. This role eligible for additional shift differential pay of 15% due to hours worked on Sunday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures (30%)

• Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%)

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus.

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and multitask

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimal travel required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The role may require extended periods of standing and walking, particularly during front desk duties and while assisting guests.

• Occasional lifting and moving of luggage, packages, or other items may be necessary when assisting guests with check-in, check-out, or transportation.

• Some manual tasks, such as carrying luggage or opening doors for guests, may be required during guest interactions.

• The role may involve physical endurance to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment, including managing multiple tasks and assisting guests throughout the day.
