Location and Schedule
  • Job Location: Blue Skies East - San Antonio, TX
  • Secondary Location: Blue Skies West - San Antonio, TX
  • Work Schedule: Core hours 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. Flexibility to include evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Role: Concierge

The Concierge serves as the central point of contact for residents in a retirement community, providing personalized and professional support to enhance the living experience. This role includes services such as laundry pick-up/delivery, furniture assembly, picture hanging, pet check-ins, yardwork, and other requested tasks, while assisting with front desk operations, addressing inquiries, and maintaining clear communication with local service providers. The Concierge fosters a welcoming environment, builds positive relationships with residents, and ensures resident needs are met with efficiency and care.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for residents, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries and coordinate requested services.
  • Schedule and communicate with service providers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Assist with front desk operations, including answering calls, responding to emails, and handling in-person inquiries.
  • Provide residents with accurate information about community services, activities, and resources.
  • Maintain organized records of service requests, schedules, invoices, and vendor communications.
  • Build positive relationships with residents to foster a sense of community and ensure satisfaction.
  • Address resident concerns and escalate issues as necessary to the resident director.
  • Monitor and restock front desk supplies or village store as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support community events or initiatives as needed to enhance resident engagement and participation.
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and local vendors
  • Background in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in coordinating services and managing schedules
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Committed to enhancing the resident experience
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service-related role preferred
Equipment and Computer Operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools is beneficial
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license

  • Range of Pay: Dependent upon qualifications and experience
