Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Concierge to welcome visitors, assist residents, and support administrative staff at our California communities. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, clear communication, and reliable assistance with daily requests.

The Concierge will answer calls, coordinate tours, manage mail, and help maintain a safe environment, working closely with team members to uphold the company’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hospitality setting or senior living community preferred.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Background check and health screening required, TB test.
• Safety protocols and PPE may be used per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and relay messages promptly and professionally.
• Monitor emergency alert systems and respond to calls.
• Manage business center operations and handle mail processing.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the companys mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
