Job summary

Sodexo at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking a Concessions Stand Lead to oversee a concession stand during events. You will guide staff, ensure fast, accurate service and maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role involves coordinating during peak periods, onboarding staff, and communicating needs to leadership. Must meet age requirements for alcohol service and hold TIPS or equivalent certification; a food handler certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of concessions, food service, or customer service experience.
• Lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service per local/state law.
• Valid TIPS or equivalent alcohol-service certification required.
• Food handler certification may be required depending on state/local rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-stand for assigned concession locations during events.
• Direct concession staff during peak service periods.
• Address guest concerns and escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Communicate staffing needs, service flow, and supply shortages to leadership.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff.
• Attend shifts on time and perform other duties as assigned.

This role supports daily stand operations by directing concession staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring efficient execution during high-volume periods. The Concessions Stand Lead works closely with the Concessions Supervisor to support staffing, service flow, and guest satisfaction.Concessions Stand Leads are actively involved in operations and serve as the primary point of contact for staff assigned to their stand.
