Job Summary

The Prep Cook prepares food and serves customers following federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Responsibilities include:

1. Obtaining daily production schedules and requirements from the Chef.
2. Preparing items on production sheets following recipes and quantities.
3. Completing and following daily worksheets and waste logs; tasting meals for quality.
4. Operating and cleaning equipment per procedures.
5. Storing, labeling, and dating food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Completing required documentation and reports.
7. Adhering to health and sanitation regulations.
8. Taking customer orders and preparing quick-service items.
9. Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Using approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
11. Resolving customer concerns and performing other duties as assigned.
