Job summary

Its My Amphitheater is seeking bartenders for outdoor summer events at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. You will fill beverage orders, operate POS terminals, and collect payments in a fast-paced setting.

Applicants should be 21+, available for night and weekend events from May through October, and comfortable standing for long periods. Prior bartending experience is preferred, and teamwork is essential for smooth operations.

Overview

Bartenders are responsible for providing guests with the highest level of customer service while filling beverage orders. Bartenders operate point-of-sale terminals and collect payment in a fast-paced environment. This is a great summer job for students, teachers, seniors, and anyone interested in a fun, outdoor summer job. Location: Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, MD 21044. Salary: $3.63 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment while filling beverage orders.
• Operate point-of-sale terminals and collect payment.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming bar area and assist guests as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be available to work an event-based schedule that runs nights/weekends from May – October (average of 40 events per season) and be able to work a minimum of 4-6 hours outside while standing
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Must be energetic, outgoing, responsible and have good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Bartending experience preferred
