Concessions Lead Bartender - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour + tips.

Schedule: Part-time, event-based schedule. Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience working in a restaurant bar, particularly in concessions. The Bar Lead should have an outgoing personality and the ability to interact with high-profile guests while remaining professional and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience. The Bar Lead should understand the drink menu and ensure alcohol guidelines are followed. The role includes executing bar setup and breakdown.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bar setup and breakdown, including stocking, inventory, and equipment care.
• Ensure all bar equipment and stations are properly stocked, organized, and maintained throughout the shift.
• Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility to be mobile for long periods.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary:

The Concessions Lead Bartender is responsible for excellent communication skills, serving cocktails, greeting customers, answering questions, and recommending menu items. The Bartender also maintains cleanliness of the bar area.

Essential Duties:

• Adhere to liquor laws and regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Verify amounts on the stand sheet to count the bar.
• Set up assigned bars, requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders, mix and garnish drinks, practice portion control.
• Check IDs for guests.
• Detect and act on guest intoxication; understand liquor laws.
• Encourage safe drinking and transportation.
• Complete Alcohol Incident Log when service is denied.
• Perform cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
