Job Description

Empower Field is the home of the Denver Broncos and hosts various concerts and events. Our grill cooks prepare food items in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, working with grills and fryers, and providing excellent food and beverage service at Denver's premier events.

This position is considered hourly, seasonal, and part-time.

Responsibilities

1. Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to recipes and guidelines.
2. Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment, communicates needs promptly.
3. Prepares ingredients through measuring, chopping, and mixing.
4. Operates kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
5. Uses various cooking methods including grilling, roasting, steaming, and broiling.
6. Arranges and garnishes food for presentation.
7. Maintains food temperature standards and documents accordingly.
8. Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
9. Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors.
10. Provides friendly customer service and maintains a positive attitude.
11. Secures company assets and adheres to safety protocols.
12. Accepts feedback and communicates concerns or ideas to leadership.

Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. Experience in cooking or food service environment.
3. ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification (training provided if needed).
4. Basic math skills.
5. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
6. Customer service-oriented attitude.
7. Willingness to adapt to new procedures and changes.
8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
