Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Position Summary

The Concessions Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue. The role involves direct contact with the public, working in areas such as buffet lines, slicing meats, or preparing dishes to order. The Concessions Cook must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for guests.
  • Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning requirements.
  • Work as part of a team, ensuring excellent service and product delivery.
  • Report any maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Test foods for proper cooking and presentation.
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery.
  • Consult with Stand Lead and Concessions Manager on menus and food consumption estimates.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance standards.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred; relevant work experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, broilers, ovens, mixers, slicers, and knives.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid food handling certificate if required by regulations.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, food prep, safety, and alcohol service policies.
  • Uphold standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
