Aramark at Frost Bank Center Concessions in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Cook who loves food and creativity. You’ll cook, prep, and plate items while following production guidelines and safety procedures.

You’ll set up stations, measure ingredients, operate ovens and mixers, and keep a clean, safe workspace. Teamwork and guest service are essential to success in this role at Aramark.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to recipes and guidelines.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food per guidelines.
• Stores food per safety policies.
• Meets cleanliness and sanitization standards for work areas and equipment.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and protects assets.
