Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a cook to prepare and cook food items ensuring high quality taste and appearance for guests, while maximizing food revenues.

The role requires 6 months+ experience in fast-paced food preparation, strong communication, and the ability to follow directions under pressure. Health/safety compliance and multi-station flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observe and practice established health and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare and cook food items to ensure high quality of taste and appearance.
• Ensure products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures.
• Label, rotate, and date all products properly.
• Keep work area clean, sanitized and organized.
• Inform management about food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders to ensure timely and accurate cooking.
• Assist with restocking paper supplies and food items as needed.
• Assist other positions when required.
• Perform opening and closing procedures per Employee Training Manual.
• May work multiple stations during the shift.
• Follow sanitary practices for food handling and facility cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for preparing and cooking food items that result in high quality of taste and appearance to satisfy guests and maximize food revenues.

• Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures.
• Ensure the proper rotation, labeling and dating of all products.
• Use the proper utensils and portions at all times.
• Keep work area clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy
• Assist with re-stocking of all paper supplies and food items as needed.
• Assist other positions when needed.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures as indicated in the Employee Training Manual.
• May be assigned to work multiple stations throughout the shift.
• Implement and follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and/or serving areas.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
