Position Title: Concessions Cashier

Pay Range: $16.20 to $18.41

Levy at Dignity Health Sports Park is currently recruiting for Part-Time Concession Stand Team Members to support the location at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The Concession Stand team member will be responsible for greeting guests in a pleasant professional manner while filling food and beverage orders. The Concession Worker will operate the Point of Sale system/cash register, collect money for purchased food and beverage items, and keep control of inventory on a daily basis. This position includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
2. Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
3. Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
4. Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds.
5. Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
6. Responsible for all assigned change funds and receipts ensuring that the POS system is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
7. Observes customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions.
8. Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
9. Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and control procedures.
10. Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
