Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.00 plus Tips!

Job Summary

Join our team as a Concessions Beverage Cart Attendant and serve beverages to fans during UW-Madison Badger Sporting Events. This role allows you to be part of the high-energy atmosphere while ensuring excellent service and compliance with safety standards. Anticipated start date of June 1st.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform sales transactions efficiently, ensuring all purchases are accurately recorded.
2. Engage with customers in a friendly and service-oriented manner, addressing any questions or concerns.
3. Replenish beverages and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized service area throughout the event.
4. Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and service standards to maintain product availability.
5. Follow all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
6. Verify guest IDs to ensure proper age verification for alcohol service, with a keen eye for fraudulent IDs.
7. Monitor guest behavior to detect signs of intoxication and respond accordingly, adhering to liquor laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth event operations.

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Willingness to earn ServSafe certification if not already certified.
3. Ability to stand for long hours during events.
4. Ability to lift 20-45 lbs for stocking and cart operations.
5. Must be able to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena.
