Job Summary

Summary : Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner in the bar area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Follow liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up and stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders; mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes; practice portion control.
• Verify guest IDs.
• Detect guest intoxication and act accordingly; know liquor laws.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and record transactions accurately.
• Secure all beverages, food, equipment, and cash.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
