Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests. Must have a valid state TABC license.
• Sets up and stocks the bar with beer, wine, spirits, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
• Maintains stock and prepares garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Takes and processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, practicing portion control.
• Checks IDs for guests.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Secures all beverage products, food, and cash.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
