Job Summary

Summary: Sell concessions to customers at various events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sells concessions, including soft drinks and food items, to customers at events.
2. Serves customers efficiently and courteously, following steps of service.
3. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner; relays relevant information to supervisor.
4. Performs sales transactions promptly, ensuring accurate recording in the cash register.
5. Makes change, accepts acceptable forms of payment, and issues receipts; follows cash handling procedures.
6. Manages assigned change funds and cash receipts, maintaining compliance with overage/shortage standards.
7. Replenishes condiments and supplies, maintains cleanliness of the concession area.
8. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

1. Ability to stand and walk for 6-12 hours during events or as required.
2. Performs physical tasks including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs.
3. Exposure to heat, steam, and cold environments.
4. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
5. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
