Job Summary

Join our team as a Concession Stand Worker and provide exceptional service to fans during UW-Madison Badger Sporting Events. In this role, you’ll handle transactions, interact with customers, prepare food, and maintain high sanitation standards, all while contributing to a fun, high-energy atmosphere. Anticipated start date of June 1st.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all purchases are recorded in the register.
2. Engage with customers in a friendly and service-oriented manner, resolving any complaints or concerns promptly.
3. Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high quality and adherence to standards.
4. Restock supplies (condiments, food, beverages, etc.) and maintain a clean and organized service area.
5. Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including ServSafe and alcohol service regulations.
6. Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels throughout events.
7. Serve alcohol responsibly, following Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
8. Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth event operations.

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Willingness to earn ServSafe.
3. Ability to stand for long hours during events.
4. Ability to lift 25-45 lbs for stocking and setup.
5. Must be available to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena.
