Job summary

Compass Group USA at Sacred Heart University-Martire Family Arena in Fairfield, CT seeks a Concession Lead to run the concession stand during events. This role supervises staff, handles cash, and ensures efficient service with accurate timekeeping and regulatory compliance.

The position offers full-time and part-time schedules, weekends required, and a fixed pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Training and development opportunities are provided within Chartwells Higher Ed.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Prior experience with cash handling, customer service, and overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Sells concessions, including soft drinks and food items, to spectators at events.
• Receives money from customers and makes correct change.
• Monitors money in cash drawer to ensure adequate change is available.
• Takes inventory of supplies and equipment; maintains stock at required operational level.
• Trains stand attendants.
• Oversees accuracy of timekeeping and compliance with OSHA and Health Department regulations.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time CONCESSION LEAD positions.
• Address: 3135 East, Fairfield, CT 06828. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; days and hours may vary. Weekends required. Flexible schedule. More details upon interview.
