Position Summary

The Concessions Cashier prepares and serves concession items to guests, prepares and pours beverages, and ensures quality of food presentation. Uses a POS (point of sale system) and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15, plus tips.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
  • Build orders, prepare food, and possess knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
  • Maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate to the Concessions Stand Manager about low stock items.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guests’ IDs in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Three or more months of experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Ability to learn to use a POS (Point of Sale System).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
