Job summary

City of Farmington Hills is seeking an entry-level concessions team member to assist with beverage and food service. The role requires serving customers, handling cash, and operating the POS system in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, be 18+, and possess or obtain a TIPS certification. Prior food-industry experience is preferred but not required, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends is essential.

START DATE & WORK SCHEDULE

ASAP

5-15 hrs per week; flexible schedule; nights and weekends required.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Mix, garnish, and serve beverages and food to customers. Responsible for concessions, handling cash, using computers, light lifting, and cleaning. Operates POS system, including the proper handling of and responsibility for the accuracy of the cash drawer. Operates, prepares, and cleans all concession-related equipment. Complies with all local, state, and federal food safety laws. Assists with all opening and closing procedures.

SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING

Provide excellent customer service, TIPS Certification Required. Will provide training.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in the food industry-preferred, but not required.

EDUCATION

High School or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age.
