Primary Function of Organizational Unit: The mission of the college is to serve as a national model for transforming the health of rural underserved regions through excellence and innovation in nursing education, leadership, research, scholarship, and practice.
Job Duties:
INTERNAL POSTING: Open to applicants currently employed by the College of Nursing at East Carolina University.
The Concentration/Specialty Director/Coordinator is directly responsible to the Department of Advanced Nursing Practice and Education Chair of the College of Nursing. Each Director is responsible for the overall management of the students and curriculum in the concentration. Duties include:
Minimum Qualifications:
DNP or PhD. Certified in leadership specialty. Experience in mid-level or higher leadership role for 5 years or more with experience teaching in nursing leadership specialty.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Administrative experience in the College of Nursing is preferred.
