Job summary

Qualifications

COMSEC Support position will support COMSEC Management forall cryptographic activities including managing the Cryptographic AccessProgram (CAP); train, manage, audit and inventory base and tenant units’ COMSECuser material holdings at required intervals. The candidate requires experiencein and will be required for:

• - Developing and implementing COMSEC criteria andrequirements for inclusion in mobility, contingency, and exercise plans for thewarfighter.
• - Conducting in depth analysis and oversight ofthe accountability of sensitive cryptographic materials and related COMSECinformation.
• - Overseeing issuance of COMSEC materials.
• - Developing and implementing processes tomaintain COMSEC inventories within the KMl program
• - Analyzing and supporting the preparation ofwritten plans for emergency actions and responsibilities to ensure personneland supported organizations are fully qualified in the execution of plans
• - Investigating, researching, and providinganalytical analysis of COMSEC security incidents to determine the possibilityof compromise to COMSEC materials and ensures documentation and reporting toappropriate channels is completed

May ensureappropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital filesand vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breachesand viruses.
