Job summary

The Terrestrial COMSEC Network Engineer role at CACI supports intelligence community networks (WAN/CAN/LAN) across security domains. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• DOD 8570 IAT2 (Security+) certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain COMSEC equipment, including keying material and cryptographic devices.
• Ensure proper operation of cryptographic devices and communications systems.
• Focus on COMSEC Account Management, Custodian Duties and encryption device configuration.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate COMSEC into IT security strategies.
• Maintain inventory of all CCI material and coordinate system maintenance across WAN/LAN environments.
• Develop test plans and documentation for COMSEC configuration upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve COMSEC incidents and issues promptly.
• Monitor health and performance of COMSEC services and management software.
• Evaluate changes and technology upgrades to meet best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging threats and COMSEC technologies.
