Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in satellite communications, RF engineering, or related areas.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Knowledge of satellite fundamentals and network architectures.
• Experience analyzing technical data and producing assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical analysis of foreign COMSAT systems and architectures.
• Assess payload designs, transponder tech, antennas, and networks.
• Analyze performance, coverage, bandwidth, frequency usage, and operation.
• Characterize foreign space communications capabilities and modernization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (HTS, software-defined payloads, optical comms).
• Assess resiliency, cyber vulnerabilities, and survivability.
• Analyze launches, constellations, and on-orbit operations.
• Integrate measurements and open-source info into assessments.
• Produce reports, briefings, and executive-level products.
