Job description

Security Clearance Required: Secret clearance


Primary Responsibilities:
  1. The candidate will provide computer science and software engineering research support for Army S&T projects.
  2. Research and implement innovative computing and software systems engineering approaches within the Future Vertical Lift Family of Systems.
  3. Advise government on implementation of computing and/or software strategies for aviation platforms and potentially, ground systems.
  4. Coordinate with other project engineers to develop methods to predict software module interactions.
  5. Participate in working groups and collaborative organizations to promote and advance engineering principles.
Desired Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or systems engineering with a mathematics background in optimization.

Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions:

Experience can be substituted for education. Six (6) years work experience or Associate's Degree plus four (4) years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
